In before the storm. Also, here are some notes about this week’s dialogue. Not important at all, but for those who don’t know or like to know:
1. At the part where Mr. Hara says, “Are you even speaking Japanese?” Gouta here is speaking in some kind of Surfer talk, which happens to be very Engrish (Japanese-English). So to any regular Japanese, what he’s saying hardly makes sense.
2. At the end Gouta mentions moving a Pachinko Pinball. In Japan there are these machines that are like pinball machines but vertical. They’re a type of machine for gambling. Here’s the wiki: Link
Note: A v2 uploaded, had to change a line, it wasn’t Loch Ness but Lake District.

I couldn’t get the subs to work for this episode and the previous one too even though Nabari no Ou’s subs show just fine but I actually found a way around it so I’m sharing my experience here.
I have CCCP and it’s a clean install so it shouldn’t be a codec compatibility problem.
I noticed that the Pink Message was showing just fine but not the OP/ED/Main/etc…
It appears that with my settings if the style is in ANSI(0) the subs don’t show so I tried changing the style to SHIFTJIS(128) without changing the font and they magically appear O_o. (they appear fine when you change the font to something else too)I also noticed that there’s no font preview (in Play >Subtitles >Style)even though I have them installed in my Font folder. The only one correctly showing is still the Pink Message One
Same thing when I double click the font file to see it. So I’m kinda confused xD and It’s a little annoying to change all the setting before watching the episode but I’ll cope with it just fine :D.
Could you post a screen shot of the episode with a subtitle embedded so I can check if I have the same font or if it’s forced if it’s not too much trouble, please?
I guess adding this trick(ANSI(0) to SHIFTJIS(128)) to the FAQ in case others experience the same issues won’t hurt anyone.
Finally I’d like to thank you for subbing these 2 shows

@ZzzZ
Please make sure to check the CRC of the file you’ve downloaded. If you didn’t download it from my IRC bot (rumi|love) or from BT there’s a chance it may be a broken file. So check the CRC.
The subs should look like this: http://www.ji-hi.net/sora/index.html Look at the column with my name on it.
The files themselves play fine on my computer. Also, please remember to read the FAQ.

I don’t know japanese n_n; but in the opening theme instead of:
- “kaeranai tojikaketa hi kara nemuraseta hi wo”, I hear “kaeranai tojikatta hi kara nemuraseta ki wo”
-”matsu nado aitsu suki datta”, I hear “matsu no duraivu? drive? suki datta”
-”sabita crossroad and fly away”, I hear “sabita crossroad, go… and fly away!”

Maybe it’s “ok/o.k./okay-lucky old days” I know an old guy who was in the navy army, he often says ok-lucky

Really I rather wait for the official lyrics before changing anything drastic. Also, I’ll be releasing v2s of all previous scripts when they do come out, so you can all archive copies with the right lyrics starting from episode one.
